This kinetic sculpture is a personal interpretation Inspired by a popular ballad belonging to romanian folklore.
In this medieval legend, Manole is a master builder who wants to overcome his condition by trying to fly from the roof of his last and greatest creation. Manole is the romanian Icarus. So it’s easy to imagine how the legend ends.
As you can see, my Manole is not so dramatic.
